Mansell Meadows is a small licensed family run boarding kennels set in five acres of beautiful countryside. The proprietors Margaret and Doug have over 30 years experience in small animal care and are sympathetic and dedicated to the needs and requirements of your pet.

The Kennels

Mansell Meadows offers a variety of kennels to suit all types and numbers of dogs. From our large bright and airy stable kennels suitable for large and giant breeds and/or families of dogs, to our individual kennels with outside runs or our specialist room suitable for older dogs, dogs with a nervous disposition or dogs who, for whatever reason, need extra monitoring and TLC.

All blocks boast oil fired central heating (but are incredibly cool in the summer months) and access is gained to a large secure courtyard where each dog is individually allowed to run freely for exercise and recreational play. Security is one of our top priorities.

Diet

We endeavour at all times to feed the dogs on the diet they are normally fed at home and we stock a variety of pet foods such as:

Dry food - Eukanuba Premium/Large Breed/ Senior and Light, Pedigree Complete, Jamed Well Beloved and Bakers Complete.

Tinned variety - Pedigree Chum/Puppy/Senior, Pal, Butchers Tripe, Chunky & Chappie.

Mixer Biscuit - Terrier Mix, Winalot Crunchy and Pedigree Chum Small Bite Mixer.

We also specialise and promote the BARF diet and believe we are the only boarding kennels in the country to do so, indeed dogs from as far away as Yorkshire board with us for this reason.

All our kennels are cleaned daily (more so if required) with Trigene® disinfectant a government and veterinary approved solution for all kennels.
