Storm is

Storm

Age: Approx 20 months old
Breed: Staffie Cross
Notes: Arrived at JFD February 2005.

When I first arrived at JFD I was just 5 months old. I was found to be ID-chipped and everyone thought I would soon be back with my rightful owner. Unfortunately my owners could not be contacted by telephone so a JFD member called round to the house my ID chip said I belonged too, but there was no one at home. The next door neighbours came out to the fence and when the situation was explained to them they very kindly told JFD that the couple concerned had lived there for at least 10 years and had never owned a dog.

Another unsolved mystery!

JFD then rang the veterinary practice that had implanted the chip to confirm the ID Chip details. The receptionist was very helpful and said that I had had the chip implanted at the same time as I had been vaccinated I was 12 weeks old at the time and she remembered my owner very well, she also confirmed the address to be correct.

After seven days I remained unclaimed and was put up for adoption. A lady and her teenaged son came to look at me and offered me a home. I lived with them for three months but was returned because the could not cope with me - I'm easily excited and very lively, but I'm a lovely natured girl and very affectionate. I very quickly calm down when I'm spoken to softly and stroked gently.

It is possible I could live happily with another dog but I would like to be in charge!

I haven't made any major mistakes and my carers cannot understand why I have been here for over a year. So just for the record and for anyone who is interested in giving me a kind and responsible home this is my message to you:

Sweet, sassy, feisty lady seeks similar natured person, for country walks, companionship and cosy nights by the fire...
